Aug. 28th, 2011 08:10 pmMy first entry on Dreamwidth (special thanks to Jean for giving me the code)
When I was fourteen (and let me think when that was….) back in 1995, I had a favourite band which was called PULP. It was the previous year, or the same, don’t really remember, I blame the age you know, that they had made their album “Different Class” that had classics like “Common People” (and yes, despite numerous covers we owe the song to the brilliant mind of Mr. Jarvis Cocker and the rest of the wonderful musicians of the group), “Disco 2000”, “Mis shapes”, “Something changed”, the brilliant “Sorted for E's & Wizz”, “Monday Mroning”, “I Spy”, “FEELING CALLED LOVE” and more so it was only natural my teenage self to be mesmerised.
Jarvis Cocker’s nerdy yet undeniably erotic figure may have helped towards that direction too.
They came for a concert in Athens in 1998 and I couldn’t go.
They came for a concert in Athens last week. And I couldn’t go!
So I wanted to honour my love for them by writing a fic… for Jack and Ianto.
( Watch and listen...yes do! )
